ABOUT US
CHANGEMAKERS UNLTD
Connect, Collaborate, Create
Our training programs, based in London and Valencia are designed to help educators and school staff understand the rapidly changing world and how it connects with the teaching profession.
Together we will reflect on:
How can we promote intercultural communication & global citizenship?
How do we develop 21st century critical thinkers?
How does our methodology need to grow to meet the needs of the 21st century classroom?
How can competence-based methodology become a reality in our contexts?
How can new ICT tools help develop new skills to foster employability?
At Changemakers UnLimited we are committed to helping educators equip their learners to make sense of the globalised world and their place in it, through critical thinking and experiential learning. Interdependence and collaboration are values which lie at the core of the work we do, and form the basis of the skills and knowledge disseminated through our training courses.

Changemakers UnLtd have been training staff and learners, from across the globe, for over 15 years. This structured course will have different objectives. The first one is to develop participants' understanding of how ICT tools can help students develop their critical thinking and to empower teachers with useful tools to develop classrooms units based on competence-based methods.
The coursework will incorporate your existing knowledge and experience and provide a helpful learning environment with focussed hands-on experience. This course will open your eyes to the importance of collaboration and shared experiences in using ICT in education.
Time will also be put aside for course facilitators to work with small groups of teachers, to help them plan/incorporate their learning into the curriculum and develop lesson plans using what has been covered in the sessions. Support will also be provided for relevant project development and management as related to this topic.
This structured course is an introduction to the key concepts and messages of GCE, including challenging our images and perceptions of others, and help learners to ‘read the world’ in order to better interact with it.
Using a wide range of activities and resources for the 21st century classroom, teachers will consider what is meant by globalisation and interdependence, how it affects us and how these themes might be addressed in the curriculum, in order to prepare learners to live and work in an interdependent global society.
The workshop will also consider the process of self-awareness and personal development that is part of moving from a ‘local’ to a ‘global’ citizen, through development of knowledge, skills and values.
